ADVOCACY
We are building a base of engaged and equipped caregivers that lean into their power to drive the demand for high-quality schools within their school and communities. This powerful and important work is necessary to build and sustain the future where every child in San Antonio is prepared to pursue a life without boundaries.
PASEO is a parent empowerment program that provides a safe and inclusive space for parents to understand the education system, build their confidence as powerful advocates, and begin flexing their muscle to make equitable changes from the classroom to the state level.
From Education to Empowerment to Leadership

PASEO Training
Parents graduate from campus level PASEO Training.

Facilitation
Some former graduates become facilitators and oversee the growth of PASEO training on their home campuses.

Student & Classroom Support
PASEO graduates take an active role in their child’s classroom experience and active roles as campus-wide leaders.

Campus-Wide Problem Solving
PASEO graduates work with school and campus leadership to identify problems and roadblocks and develop solutions that help improve learning.

District Involvement
PASEO graduates take an active role in district-wide policies, bond initiatives, and elections.

Board & District Service
PASEO graduates take on roles within the district as board and committee members and in district-wide positions.
DISTRICT PARTNERS
We’ve partnered with 3 San Antonio area school districts and 1 public charter school network to provide over 200 parents with a space to tap into and leverage their power to change the life outcomes for their children.
